I don’t normally condone graffiti – I’m just a crabbit old man – but am often amazed at the artistic qualities of some of this stuff. You have made an excellent job here, Rene, of dupicating the bright colours often used. I saw stuff like this in Amsterdam and on the train going into Paris and found it interesting if not a little scary as the rail lines were electrified. I wondered if any serious injuries result.

This is wonderful! Once again, your art has such a festive mood to it. I was also amazed with the graffiti in Amsterdam.

Actually, the factory was squatted by a collective group of artists. I don’t know if they do these works themselves, but the pieces are refreshed regularly. I saw them spraying a new piece last wednesday.
Trebor, I have the same ambiguous feeling: some pieces are very good, but it also makes surroundings look shabby.

i love what you are doing with these graffiti pieces! in the states i have seen some that is amazing and other that is total rubbish. i’m also a little torn between what makes it acceptable or vandalism. i had a friend that was rather good in the way he presented his but there was that old dude in me that thought about the legality of it.
