Carnaval Maastricht, last weekend. A lot of “zaate herremeniekes” (small brassbands) play in the streets. They mostly consist of a few trumpets, a tuba and a lot of drums. Never in tune, always loud. And always dressed up. http://renefijten.blogspot.com/
