I have done plenty of subway rides, but until my recent ride on Atlanta’s MARTA, I have even more respect for your art. These rides are really bumpy and it takes some nerve to sketch people when you’re locked in a box with them. Kudos, Ami!

It can be a little uncomfortable drawing people in such forced proximity, but most people seem to take it in stride even when they realize what i’m doing. Also being 6’4, 230 lbs allows me a little extra layer of protection against anyone who was thinking about getting unpleasant about my sketching
