So, we’ve perfected our design for a full-wrap journal. We’re releasing them as limited editions (the design name is the Aeneas) since they take twice as long to make as our usual covers, and we simply don’t have the resources to create a large inventory of them. This moleskine cover is a birthday present for my sister (don’t tell her; she doesn’t know yet!), and we’re pretty excited about getting it to her. It fits a large moleskine, but we haven’t decided whether to ship a lined notebook for journaling or a sketch notebook for sketching.

I vote for a sketchbook!

Certainly a sketch book!

Leo, I’m really not being a spoilsport, and these are great, but I hope you’re getting a fee for the advertising space. No response necessary.

Thanks for the concern, Sophie. Our posts are not meant to be advertising; we only put up pics of stuff not-for-sale. We consider ourselves moleskine artists that put our art on the outside of the moleskine rather than on the inside, and our posts are for sharing our art with a community of artists. We’ve got our links up there for the same reason as the other artists and designers that post on skine.art, so that people can visit our sites and see more of our art if they like it. If you really don’t think we belong here, just shout, and we’ll duck out. Thanks for bringing it up.

And we’ve decided it’s definitely going to be a sketchbook.

Hey, Sophie.
It’s been addressed here before. I’ve approached Luke and Christine asking if they would be interested in a trade. And I’m glad I did. I have a large Moleskine sketchbook in one of these leather covers right here in front of me. I’m tempted and intimidated to start it – it’s so nice.

I really find that I’m craving more things like–leather, wood. I like these. Just suddenly everything is a long commercial. I can’t even watch television. I think this happens to a lot of us from time to time. This wasn’t really aimed at sojournerleather. Do you know what I mean? Thank God for journals and books and even interactive blogs.

I was looking at them (out of my price range at present). There was the Ishmael tooled–it reminded me. My favorite movie (Besides “Wings of Deire”) is “Il Postino”. And in the movie Pablo Neruda gives the postman a journal as a gift. And it was more ornate than this but it reminded me of it. And I guess this is a S. American technique. ?
