Your drawing is very expressive, Margie and I’m sorry you have had “one of those weeks”. Me too! Maybe you bought a new ipod like me and slowly went into meltdown trying to get stuff onto the thing. Cheer up, tomorrow will be better!

thanks, Bob.
I forgot to write on this post that this is Inktense pencil (with water). These pencils are still frightening! But oh-so-fun.
Which iPod do you have?

Good to see you getting to grips with the Inktense, Margie. I’ve noticed that they can be used in a variety of ways but I still need lots of practise. My watercolours tend to be muted as I paint wet into wet a lot so the “power” of these things is a bit bewildering. The boldness is far greater than the stuff with ink, which I have been experimenting with recently. All in all, I’m glad to be trying different things – its all a learning curve. I started a post in the “forums section” some time ago (Sharing techniques with others) and r-sail stated that we should use “Mixed media man”. I suspect that I will drift towards a range of media in some of my future work but with your “colourful background” (OUCH!) you must be quite excited about bolder colours. As to the ipod. Its a new ipod touch 16GB to enable me to access email on the go – in fact I saw your message in the car earlier (Margaret was driving he hastily added). I already have two others (show off), my original is for my music/talking books and a wee “shuffle” to use at the gym – I have lots of slow songs on this one. PS Brush pens have been shipped according to another message. Regards Bob bobmcdowall@hotmail.com

I have an iTouch and love it. I hope you have as much fun with yours as I do with mine – glad to hear you aren’t using it while you drive!
Did you get the brush pens that you fill with water? Its so fun to not have to have a glass of water when you go painting.

Pens (I ordered 2) have been shipped but have yet to appear here in Scotland. After all of the correspondence your suggestion has generated with others I am beside myself with anticipation.
