This was a commissioned wedding present; the patron wanted to give moleskine leather journal covers to both bride and groom, but didn’t want them to match in any traditional way.
The moleskine cover is 3-4oz leather with eco-flo dyes.

What a great present and beautifully tooled. I’ve kept a journal for almost thirty years and its great fun to look back on. I do hope the happy couple remember to fill theirs in.

That really is awesome. I carry mine almost everywhere I go; working in construction, I couldn’t tell you how many have gotten mangled. And I especially like that they’ll each have covers totally unique to them. Beautiful work indeed.
