I have only half a second online (busier than I thought) but Susan I wanted to tell you, you know that album cover for the jazz funk album? I had a dream that the world was all done in photoshop and it was pretty horrible to be alive in it like that even though it looks okay on a couple of donuts. I don’t think any of us would really want it to HAPPEN, you know?

Sophie…oh my goodness, no! We definitely wouldn’t want to live in a photoshop world. Actually, your dream sounds interesting, I’d love to see what it looked like.

I don’t know if I could even do that. I was sort of like begin smothered. It was sort of like HELL. I’m working as a caretaker at an Inn. It’s nice (most of the time). I get to a cybercafe every other day or so as a BREAK. I want to do a lot of drawing of the townspeople (the tourists are gone and they have a very interesting New England character). Like some rugged Texans I’ve met, or farmers. Very commonsensical and I would say–unemotional. Ayuh? I’m working to enjoy myself while I’m here, because of course when I get back to the city I’ll need to enjoy myself while I’m THERE. I’m glad to get out of town for a few weeks anyway. I didn’t know this but I like to draw machinery. Pipes and stuff.

As they say, “wherever you go, there you are”. Aside from the dream, sounds like an interesting life, Sophie.
