Everything looks so prickly. Last time I was in Arizona it was like this—-seems there’s nowhere to spread a blanket for a picnic without getting bit or stung. Nice drawing though, as usual.
Thanks, roseindigo. No way can you spread a picnic blanket on the ground around here. Between the plants, snakes and bugs, the picnic would be very uncomfortable.
The sketch is, as usual, great. I dont fancy all of the snakes and bugs, however. The nearest thing we have to that, in Scotland, is the Adder snake, which bites about two folk a year, is rarely fatal and most Scots have never even seen one. It’s even better in Ireland where there are no snakes at all.
