My entire Moleskine is improvised with the ink alone with the exception of 2 or 3 double page spreads where I layout a pencil drawing to get the composition right since Im working in such a large area. This is one of them. I’m glad you like the line work. I’ve been practicing with a brush for years.

The link you have there is correct. I just use the Pentel refills they sell on the site and yes, I add
the highlights in Photoshop.
