From a rail journey down eastern England. I liked the way the “old” mature tree contrasted with the “new” technology of the power station. Watercolour in a small watercolour Moleskine

Great juxtaposition.
Reminds so much of journeying home back to York – would pass three power stations on the way (one being Ferrybridge)

Hi Sarah. You have just solved a problem. I photographed these power stations when returning from London a week ago but couldn’t find a name to use in the title when posting the painting. I even tried to follow the railway line using Google Earth but gave up. I think these are the power stations you mention.

Whatever you are doing, this Christmas – travelling north or staying south – have a happy Christmas and thanks for your comments on my efforts on this site

I think maybe your work is so great because you clearly love to do it. Then people can’t help but to enjoy it as well. I think the pink sky is really pretty great as well. I’m not a professional critic, I’m just saying.

Dear Trebor61,
I want to send you something by regular mail. I’m still in digital hell but you have cracked me up so many times. If you want, my email address is Pinkjasper@verizon.net. I’ll be closing that account in a couple of weeks, which is why I’m having a nightmare of a time with new passwords and logging in and so on. So if you wanted I could send something to your PO Box.
