But they are better now? Its good to comunicate through drawings and sketches – better sometimes than trying to put things into words. Keep these coming my friend
Much better now, thank you Bob. I haven’t been drawing much lately. I have been working on five ceramic sculptures/wall pieces that I have to deliver next week.
This is brilliant news. Sometimes things get a bit on top of us but we always come through. I’ve looked at some of your ceramics and cannot help but wonder how on earth you achieve such detail. More power to your elbow, as they say. Keep up the good work.
I have always seen your lettering as part of the process and an integral part of your work. Sometimes I can’t read it all but I’ve always thought that was the point. I may not have enjoyed the subject matter sometimes … the bugs for example!! … but the detail and skill of your drawing always amazes me. Your images are very bold and powerful. Fantastic portraits. Love the blog.
Thanks again Bob, Nikira, and Sarah. I just unloaded a bisque fire. Now to put something on the surface and fire again ( to a mucher higher degree). Nikira, you can see some of the ceramic stuff on my blog… You will have to drift through the pages. The site is http://www.yardapeart.blogspot.com
