I’m always so surprised that you get so much texture without crosshatching at all. Do you actively avoid it? It seems a signature. I would recognize your work 20 years in the future, without difficulty. My favorites are the roadside dinner and those fish, on the dock?
Thank you, Sophie. I just don’t think about using crosshatching. Probably because I try to depict movement using singular lines. Thanks also for the faves!

Lovely drawing. I agree with Trebor, the depth you create by layering is very well done.
