I really like your mountain scenes especially these ones. What are they called Boulgakow? I feel that would like to look up my atlas to find out where they are.

Beautiful- the coolness of the water and mountains and the warmth between.

These are French Alps, Bob. Interesting thing is happening since Pascal started posting his paintings here. I keep catching myself seeing the world around me through his eyes – the colors, the shapes, the landscapes…

Another stunning, vibrant landscape that I can taste as I look at it.

Thank Leo. Pascal, if I may; your paintings bring to me more than just nice scenery. You seem to have this uncanny knack of convincing me that I am actually there. This particular one uses a brilliant amount of aerial perspective with the cool coloured mountains receeding into the distance drawing the eye towards them while the warmer colours anchor the front details. Thanks for posting your scenes.

Whow, thanks a lot. These mountains, my place, is called Vercors, near Grenoble, in the French Alps. I’m so found of landscapes, for really long time, but I just start to manage painting them while I choose the way to make them simple. Althoug they are still too much drawn for me, I try to get them more and more simple, with just few strokes. Unable to draw portraits, villages, animals, just landscapes… Anyway, thanks for the motivation you’re giving to me.
