it happened by accident, then I realized how well it helped define the face. Try this,too: leave a white boundary only on the side of the face the light is on, while not leaving the white boundary on the side in shadow – that’s a nice effect, too. Thanks for commenting, Trebor61!I do appreciate it.

Like the slight “halo” effect around the figures which creates boundaries. Hadn’t thought of that. Must try it. Thanks for posting this.
