Parisian Skyline – Dusk. Black Indian Ink on top of lighter, coloured ink washes on a watercolour Moleskine
This is from a photo I took a couple of years ago while on holiday in France. I thought I would try something similar to my last entry. Hope it worked.

Thanks for your comment. I’m no expert but since trying to work with coloured inks I have found one great advantage over watercolours. The ink goes where you put it and STAYS THERE. If you wish colours to merge, or flow into a specific area, then wet this with clean water first. Once the ink is on the paper other layers can be added without disturbing those underneath but you have to work quickly. Good luck with your trip to Colombia.

In fact, it’s Lauren again. If possible, we’d love to use both the London and Paris images for the invitation (it’s actually the announcement of our wedding). Please email me at the below email. I love your work and these images. We’re also both fans of the moleskine. We saw the little exhibit at the pompidou last year with the artists’ moleskine entries. We both have them. Et je parle francais aussi (je trouve pas les accents sur cet ordi). J’ai vu quelque part une correspondence entre vous et quelqu’un en francais. Alors comme vous voulez. J’espere a bientot! L’expression de mes sentiments les plus distingues, Lauren
