During my trip to Mexico, I got very inspired by the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) art I saw. I drew this in the resort lobby on a rainy afternoon. I ended up using these in a design I painted on a bowl on another rainy day.
FYI- Dia de los Muertos is on November 2nd this year.
FYI (numero dos)- September- November is the rainy season in the Yucatan Peninsula. Wish I had known that before booking my trip.

I always wanted a sugar skull or day of the dead type tattoo. Just never found the right one (lack of art talent over here). I love this though. Hope to see more from the trip.
