the guy is from a photo from an airline magazine about laplanders, I kind of Moebius-ed it up a little with the tree thingy.
great drawing james
Tree thingy looks like a hydra. I use to watch them as a kid under a cheap microscope. Later, and with a better scope purchased for me by my dad, It opened up a whole new world to explore. The world of the microcosm. lol. Yeah, I was one of THOSE kids. Mr. BoboMonkey, you have to start a children’s book with this talent!
Thanks, working with a publisher now for educational books. The plan is to get students to explain what is happening in the picture, what happens next, etc. Taking some time but I hope it works out. Wish me luck.
Greyseal, same here, at the age of 4, I was shown by my future first stepmother (scientist) microflora from my teeth under the microscope, which damaged my self esteem for years and developed interest to biology.
Bobomonkey, congrats with upcoming books, would be a blast!
Would love to see comics in your style.
Nikira, too funny! lol Mr. Bobomonkey, Good Luck and GOOD LUCK again! I am sure your work will go over big. Especially with the boys for whom it is a little harder to get to read anything beyond their immediate interest.
Exactly who they are aimed at greyseal, boys at that age. Might have to add some bra’s to the mermaids tho”’
Yes, probably so (pity) but these creatures are just busting with humanity, biology, myth and magic. No explosions needed either!
