Hello everyone, it has been a while since I have been “regular” here but that is soon to change.
So for Christmas my wife got me this cool new Moleskine sketchbook. I have always loved LEGO and in addition she got me a LEGO Architecture set, the Farnsworth House…
Just after Christmas I picked up a book by Danny Gregory called “THE CREATIVE LICENSE; GIVING YOURSELF PERMISSION TO BE THE ARTIST YOU TRULY ARE” I gotta say I love this book. I already have a new appreciation for sketching and am changing my outlook on life as I draw each panel. So I decided to use this new sketchbook to track my journey through Danny’s book. This is the beginning.

Thanks. I like this journal but I wish it had the thicker sketchbook pages. These bleed too bad and I have already changed to drawing every other panel because I can’t stand drawing back to back on these thin pages.

That’s the thing that really bothers me about the (super cool) ‘special editions;’ they don’t make any sketchbooks, just the ‘notebooks,’ so if I want one of the cool ones, I have to make do with the thin paper that bleeds through and always shows stuff from the other side. I really wish they’d make some of the cool editions in sketchbooks, too.
