Corstorphine Beechwood – Watercolour

I started this a few months ago and decided to finish it in an effort to clear my desk. I revisited this place two weeks ago and it was interesting to see the changes a few months had made. Most of the leaves had gone and the place way much brighter. Its a joy to walk through this place as these same leaves have added to the spongy carpet under the trees. Its like walking on a fine mattress. Soon the area will be covered in snow and that will offer different challenges.
