No one has commented on this because fabulous works are just what we expect from Ziza around here. But I agree, its a wonderfully dramatic painting and looks like a watercolor should look when handled by a master. We used to be able to vote on the paintings we liked best in the past and this would probably have gotten a whole lot of votes, but the voting slowed down the site and so it was eliminated. But you may believe that none of us let this one pass without great admiration for his technique.
OMG, this one did slip past me! I’ve got to pay more attention to previous pages. Bravo Mr Ziza! Roseindigo is correct. We are in danger of becoming complacent about the quality of work seen on this blog. That would be our loss, not Mr. Ziza’s.
