I think your artistic creation of the pen and ink moon shot is beautiful. Your entire collection is dangerously intriguing and embodies such a lovely exploration of the senses and full spectrum of emotions. I find such a fragile delicacy and sensual delight in this and your other pieces. I love the “Heart Wave” image also, it reminds me of the macabre and morose nature found in Brom’s paintings and I love the abundance of fear and anticipation being at home in your pieces. I was really drawn to the image of the tree and moon because of the feeling the moon provides, it seems to pulse and reminds me of the bird’s eye view I get the privilege to experience in surgical suites. The human arteries pulsing under harsh and bright lights, slowly revealed with steady scalpel strokes. I also found myself drawn to a certain amount of darkness and just the constant reminder of what lives under the bed hidden by designer bed skirts and high thread count sheets that only comes alive under the moon’s watchful eyes. I like your art and others that arouse feelings rather than be chosen for how well they match the striped chaise lounge.
