I enjoyed doing this wee sketch and am pleased that you all liked it. Rob, you hit the nail on the head when you talked of “peace” as Autumn (you guys have the charming expression “fall”) is my favourite time of the year. Life slows as nature takes a deep breath. Thanks, Susan, for taking the time to comment. This “peacefulness will soon be replaced by snow and wind. I wonder if I’ll be able to paint that sort of scene.
