Ratho village, near Edinburgh, earlier this winter
I can almost feel the cold. Nice!
Thanks Susan. Yes! It was cold. I’ve still got the scars.
I like looking at the enlargement and seeing your strokes. I really like the the sky.

Really caught the place here. I can almost feel the car lose control on the black ice. I took a really long look at this and I like it. Good job Robert.
Thanks for the feedback folks. Very complementary. I like painting skies and invariably use wet into wet with them. The great thing is you can never be sure how they will turn out until they are finished so my effort are usually a surprise. Yes Jim that was a cold one. The snow fell on a Saturday night so, by the time the roads were cleared on the following Monday we did have a bit of a skateing rink. I was forced to stay indoors with medicinal whisky.
Try soaking in it, still any excuse to ruin whiskey with some ice and water is a good one.
Another one where you really caught the COLD look of the place, especially in the sky.
You do snow beautifully.
