Looking at Verrazano bridge through the trees. I pass that place hundred times and often stare at this beauty against the sky, and it seems that wind plays music on its strings like on gigantic harp.
Verrazano connects Brooklyn and Staten Island, where we have to take another bridge North through Goethals and South through Outerbridge, it is our way to New Jersey, unless we want to go through Manhattan and take George Washington bridge. To cross Verrazano going North cost $13 bucks.
I used ink and bits of watercolor from my tiny Bijou box.

Love the shapes of those trees, especially the ones immediately to the left of the cars. I know the history of this bridge well and, if you have some spare time, you should find out how the “Narrows” were created by a sudden release of water many, many years ago. Fascinating stuff.
