Into Disrepair, Trout Fishing – Linlithgow Loch – Watercolour
A last minute entry for this month’s “Challenge”
Give a man a fish and you’ll feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he’ll sit on his backside, in a boat, drinking beer.

One of the appeals to your work is that it’s sometimes so rural and peaceful. You were in NYC I guess, it certainly has it’s charms. We have boats like this in the park, you rent them by the hour. I guess you always know that right over the horizon things are pretty loud and busy!

Yes indeed, Sophie. We did see two types of boats in Central Park. There were the types you mention which can be hired and there was also some sort of competition for model boats

As to noise. You are lucky with Central Park. It was an oasis of calm in New York’s hustle and bustle and was most welcome
