Hi Nikira. At this time of year, as the weather warms, we get misty and atmospheric conditions and that’s why I tried to merge the snowy background with the sky. I love trying to capture the moods we can observe and I am glad you like my meagre attempts. Thank you for the link to this forthcoming publication. I will definitely be interested in this and will drop hints around my birthday time as buying it myself, at this price, is a bit steep for me. The National Gallery has thousands of pieces of artwork which are never seen and this looks like a great reference guide for lots of the stuff.
