watercolor on simple moleskine sketchbook, hardback cover.
beautiful, very delicate.
thank you very much, it is my personal favourite
I’m very fond of this too. The delicate simplicity is beautiful, and the composition, including the arramgement of the haiku, seems eastern-inspired to me.
That’s ‘arrangement’, I meant, of course!
well, eventually it did became eastern.
Eventhough I haven’t studied anything about Eastern culture (I’m quite profane about it), and living in Northern Europe… I wanted it to be meaningful, simple, calm.
And of course, it isn’t real haiku – not a real word order, syllabe count or else… But spiritually, I suppose it is near it – simple, reading with one breath…
Thank you, Himmapaan!
I find that artistic disciplines come to influence one another in continuous cycles at all events. It’s a wonderful thing.
It is, really… It’s just common sense of beautiful things.
