My Mom’s neighbor, Eric, is an excellent flower gardener which is not so interesting in itself except that he never seems satisfied with where the flowers are planted. Every time I visit, they are all rearranged. It’s easily the most mobile garden I’ve ever visited. The bee may never find this lily again!

Some serious work in this. How long did you take?

Thanks, Nikira and Bob!
Uncle Bob, I couldn’t say exactly how much time. I only can extract 30-40 minutes at the end of the day to draw (if I’m lucky). This took I believe 3 nights, so overall it was a bit less than two hours. I should note that watersoluble graphite for me tends to be faster than watercolor which I also really like. With the watersoluble graphite you don’t have to spend as much time blending the colors, waiting for each color to dry to the right state. Secondly, there are many textures that you can generate quickly since you have the pencil, the graphite on the paper that you work, and an “ink” that you can make by grinding the lead.
