I was depressed for couple of days, but kept drawing from time to time, almost mechanically. More color crept in. Nice acquaintance brought us Stollen from german bakery Upstate, it was pretty and tasty. But this drawing would be a memory of my distraction, not a panegyric to delicious Stollen. I used ink and Kuretake pens.

You bring such joy to us, N – very sorry that you have been down. I think it’s “That time of Year” …What can we do to cheer you?? A package from JetPens???? Hang in there – I agree with Uncle. Paint yourself warm!!!

Thank you very much Jessica, Bob and Christy, really appreciate your kind words. Life is not easy to manage when you feel alive only when you draw. But it will get better. Interesting that women cry more than men because they have 60% more prolactin in their bodies and their tear glands are much bigger than men’s, and men loosing their tear toxins through sweat.
