Edge of the Woods – Watercolour
Sunday was one of those brilliant winter days with temperatures below freezing but lovely sunshine and clear skies.
This shows the south edge of our local woods, during a short walk past the badger setts. Its where Tormain Woods join to the local farms – hence the fence. The time is late afternoon hence the warm glow of the sun sinking ahead to the west. All this fresh air guaranteed a good night’s sleep later on.

Wonderful Bob. It reminds me of a park just down the street from my house. Our dog Sadie loves to romp there.

Soothing! I want to sit on that stump, enjoy the scene and a beer!

Glad you like this folks. It was a real “leap of faith” (what Bob Ross used to call a “bravery test”) to put the contrast into the sky. Seems to have worked. Thanks again! @Joe – I have plenty beer in the fridge but it only has a “half life” of a few weeks so you will have to hurry to sit and drink
