Snowy Colours – Watercolour
Done a few weeks ago when we had more snow. This was an attempt to spot as many colours in the snow as possible. I am always amazed at how things are never “just white” as the shadows and different areas reflect the light. I was once told that warm sky colours, in snow, should be complemented by cold ground ones and vice-versa and this seems to work for me,

What a lovely painting I love the delicate use of colour and you have definitely succeeded in showing the many different colours in a winter snow landscape, well done Uncle Bob.

Thanks folks. Its nice to realise that there there ARE different colours in snow and its not just my age
