Cool. Thank you Muartsenner and Joseph. Interesting that mostly men like the Bug and women like big cars. I love SUV’s. Beetle reminds old Russian “Pobeda” in miniature, I believe from 50-es, my father use to own one. Good idea, I should draw it.

My first car was a Beetle. My father purchased it for $150 and we fixed it up together. It had been driven on the beach quite a bit and was rear ended so it did need work.

By the time we got it in working condition it was faded blue with a primer red top and black baja fenders. We did not have the rooster tail exhaust but rather the dual pipes extending horizontal.

I loved that car.
