Tower with blue sky. View from the Onteora church. This house overlooking Arboretum always half hidden by tall trees and I know nothing about this old tower.
I used ink and blue Kuretake pen on watercolor paper.

Gorgeous texture and light. Is it near water? May be a “widow’s walk” or something like that. Regardless, it’s beautiful.

Thank you Eileen, no it is not near water, but overlooking breathtaking view of the mountains, reminding silhouette of woman’s breast, slopes and hills, small Arboretum. People always stop and take pictures of beautiful sunrise or sunset above mountains. Not a “widow’s walk” either, tower is free standing somewhere behind the house, but it covered by the fence from the road.

The Catskills are beautiful mountains! Right, don’t know what I was thinking ; ) We used to go to the Nevele many years ago when my children were young – winter and summer. Such beautiful memories.

Oh, Eileen, I know Nevele well. We use to spend summers near Ellenville and went many times to Nevele for horse back riding when my daughter was little. And later she went to Nevele to tennis camp couple of summers. This summer she was teaching in tennis camp in Nevele for sometime. So may be we met there.
