Thanks Elltheabg, if you want details use a good fine point sable brush (doesn’t have to be tiny at all)and paint on thoroughly dry paper. The brush should be drained of any excess water and use pigment generously – then you should be able to “get details”.
If you want to loosen, try using quill brush that has some mildly uncontrolled movement or any brush with long tuft. Hope this helped.
Regarding skills – practice. I do it all the time and I’m never satisfied… But the feeling of “getting there” makes me happy.
