This is the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I did it on location alla prima. Drying time was not an issue in 108 F degree heat. Land management controlled forest fires clouded up the canyon past acceptable for photos to be taken, so I thought I’d try this.

Wow! You certainly have invoked a sense of the spaciousness here and your use of colour is brilliant. Interesting you mention that drying time was not an issue. It would have been for me He He. At the speed I work at, 108 degree heat would have dried the paint on the brush before it got near the paper

Thank you Uncle Bob, you are too kind. Funny thing, the heat actually helped. If it hadn’t been for the fast drying time I would probably had made a muddy mess of it all as I typically do with transparent water media. Patience not being one of my blessings.
