Another corner in Brooklyn done in ink and touch of color with few Kuretake pens on watercolor paper from old sketch pad. It brought to mind In the Shadow of Young Girls in Flower: In Search of Lost Time, by Proust. EXcept here is inverted in PS version, followed one artist advice. Kinda like this ghostly mysticism.

Great! what a wonderful use of ink, w/c and imagination!

Oh, I didn’t read it… I liked it so much I hurried to prise it straight ahead. I wish original looked like this. I re-inverted it to see – it is still cool!

Ziza, it was interesting, one artist said that original looks as though the background is “negative” and the tree is “positive” and suggested to invert it in PS. I did. When I finished ink it bothered me that tree is so overworked even I wanted to be in a shadow. It is cool to experiment and try same things from different points of view.

Great I like it a lot. How did you achieve the effect? Is it drawn or digitally altered into negative?

Thank you very much, Cainmarko and Diseased. I did drawing in ink, look here http://nikiraart.blogspot.com/ than inverted in Photoshop, as one artist suggested I should try. So here is PS version of it.
