Between Squalls – Watercolour
This lonely boat was spotted on the East Lothian coast near the village of Gullane, perhaps my favourite place of all time with many golf courses and superb beaches. After last week’s storms this small dingy seemed to be abandoned in a sort of Marie Celeste mode. The past couple of days have seen some of the best weather so far this year with wall to wall sunshine and calm conditions. I hope, however, that the owners of this boat don’t attempt to sail again today as the turbulent winds have returned – just in time for the weekend.
