I like your fantasy twist on the photographs featuring (African?) thugs with animals used to extort and terrorize. It was a really interesting article and my imagination was captivated, too!

Definitely. I think the pictures were on BoingBoing first? I don’t remember who showed them first, but stuff like that provides such great inspiration. I was close, too, but too broad: They’re from Nigeria. Lagos, apparently. The photo that inspired you, plus others, are on the original photographer’s blog along with an essay that provides as much inspiration as the photos. Cheers!
