Thank you, now I feel like a spoiled brat. W&N as I said is generally regarded as a t 12op notch in artists watercolours. However, I’m not impressed. I have 2 different 12x field sets ans one 12x tube set. I do like a couple of their paints but overall I’m not happy. It is also strange that in one of the 12x sets they included white!? Generally they are duller in appearance and less transparent (and those are the criteria important to me).
W&N range is 96 while Rembrandt has “only” 80. “Daniel Smith” leading with stunning 227 colours and next is “Old Holland” with 168. Blockx and Art Spectrum are the most expensive.
Eh, we can’t have thema all, can we?
