I’m curious, When do you draw these things? Do you take a picture for future reflection or do you just doodle it when it is set in front of you? There are so many details and lighting captures. . .
Hi Rubin Pingk. Very often I draw on location and never touch up. Sometimes I start on location and finish home, I snap photo on my phone just in case I won’t be able to finish. A lot of times I try to restrict myself from detailing because I feel ink dictates it. This map I added later from imagination because I planned to put writing there, but then decide to transform it into sort of treasure map of NY, marking this day of adventures with my friend, walking, museum, sketching, talking. Also I am in love with this pens Kuretake sent me, I carry it with me.
