This is great! Haha, origami IS hard!Did you fold this swan? I love the colors you used, and the shadows make it look just like a folded piece of paper.

Thanks Crane! I did fold this swan but had to call in my wife to help me.
Despite being a simple design, I was surprised by how tricky a few parts were. Origami certainly has its own language. I have a picture of the paper swan on my blog entry at:

I love origami! It’s a wonder that anyone can take a square sheet of paper and turn it into a recognizable shape without cutting it. I have about fifty paper cranes on my bedroom ceiling
Even though you said it was tricky, your swan turned out fine. It doesn’t even look like you messed up. Good for you for trying something new!
