Thanks, Nikira. Interestingly, I had never tried to draw trees so strongly lit from behind. The next few images (when I finish them) will be with the Gansai paints. Any tips on how they are different than western watercolors?

I think a bit more opaque and premixed than western. Works more on hints and guesses. Can’t wait to see it.
