Thank you Bunny. The beauty credit all goes to the author of the original Ian Vermeer van Delft who was one of the best all-time masters of the composition (and pretty much everything else in fine arts). His tiny original was made on wood (18×24 cm).
This is my humble copy-attempt made (long ago) in oil upon canvased cardboard of the same dimensions (looks like, a bit coarser, version of Moleskine notebook cover). Partly I felt uneasy to finish it and partly I liked it in it’s unfinished state – so I kept it this way till this day.
Therefore, it is NOT a Moleskine post, but Leo generously allowed it to the site (Thanks Leo).
I’m really glad that someone (else) likes it!
