Snowy Ratho – Watercolour in a Watercolour Moleskine

The heaviest of the recent snow occurred between the 28th of November and the 9th of December. It took about a week, after that, to get the main roads cleared for traffic. This is the scene a few days after that. We were driving on the Dalmahoy Road, towards the village when we came across two cars locked into each other completely blocking this road, just up from these trees. No one hurt but I had to reverse about half a mile backwards, up the hill, to escape and access home via another route. Later that day I walked up to this point and photographed this. By that time the blockage had been cleared. What an exciting life I lead.
