Stained Glass Christmas Window – Inktense in a Moleskine Sketchbook
This, coincidentally, looks like “Boofredlay”s recent posting http://www.skineart.com/art/author/boofredlay/
but, honest, I didn’t plagiarise your stuff, my friend.
This idea started as something for this months challenge. A friend of mine makes stained glass objects as a hobby and she gave me some ideas about how to design these things. I, therefore. decided to design a “window”, with a Christmas theme to enter the challenge as well as to wish everyone a Happy Christmas. The Bells and Holly are traditional while the background is supposed to represent sails in the carol – “I saw three Ships.” Not too bad for a first attempt but – who would want a Christmas Window like this unless, of course, you stay in a church? Ah the best laid plans of mice and men gang aft algley. Not to worry. Seasons Greetings everyone – including Boofredlay.
