The Gathering Storm – Ink and Watercolour on Rough Watercolour Paper
This was inspired by the view from my wee studio this morning. A great deal of the recent snow has melted but severe weather was forecast. As I looked at the warm, sunny colours the expected storm started to sweep in from the north bringing fresh falls of snow. Its quite heavy up north but all levels, including my view of Corstorphine Hill (depicted here) will get a fair amount toady and through the weekend. Here we go again!
PS The title is, of course, from Winston Churchill’s “History of the Second World War”

Yes, precisely what I wanted to remark! I keep coming back to look at the clouds.

Uncle, There is a glimpse of the Mysterious and Divine in your work! A Gift indeed.

Love the sky.

I cannot believe I have missed these generous comments. Please forgive my tardiness in replying. Glad you all like this, especially the sky. The good thing about wet in wet is that one never knows what is going to happen until it does. I would, therefore, agree about the “Mysterious” greyseal but, “Divine” Steady on. You are embarrassing me. I’ll give you only 2 hours to stop
Thank you all for these nice words – Bob
