In the Attic – Watercolour in a small Watercolour Moleskine
Just an attempt to get a quick entry in for this month’s Challenge in the hope that others might have a go.
My parents told me I must NEVER open the attic’s trapdoor. If I did, I might see things I wasn’t meant to. One day, when they were out, I opened the door. They were right. I saw down into the upstairs area of the house. I could see carpets, furniture, bedrooms and the stairs leading to the lower floors of the house……………….!

Very cool!

Thanks Steph. “Very cool” Had to smile at the connotations of this phrase. Yes its “very cool” in our attic – in fact its freezing. The insulation obviously works. It keeps the “dark gentleman”, shown, quiet. I always smile when you youngsters say “cool” but its “our” expression from years ago in the 1960′s. (Does anyone else remember “Kookie” in 77Sunset Strip?)
