I made a quick drawing of this oxcart in Sri Lanka on my Moleskine (Plain black hard cover Notebook 192 pages) on site which i finished in the plane back to France (FaberCastell pen and Winsor & Newton watercolour). The Chief Cabin Crew came and had a quick chat with me on the pleasure of drawing asking me how to find time to draw even in the busiest days. I gave him a few reasonable advices and he was kind enough as to offer Champagne to me and my whole family… though we were traveling in economy class

Very nice sketch, I love the spirit of the moment within. The W&N plus the FaberCastell are my favorites too.

Outstanding, love combination of image and writing, love red here, and your story. Drawing is universal language.

Thanks for your comments. the oxcart actually was stopped just before a painted advertising for a radio. At the beginning, I was frightened to add the red because it could potentially kill the drawing but luckily it proved to be the right thing to do
