In between rain showers – Watercolour and ink in a Watercolour Moleskine

I took a photo, on Tuesday, of this huge cloud bubbling up above the houses opposite my room. The weather had brought us severe overnight storms with lots of rain and high winds. I was sitting, sketching, when it suddenly got a lot brighter with piercing sunshine and this cloud seemed to dominate the sky. I photographed it, sent it to Flickr where John saw it and suggested it might make a half decent painting. Here, then, is my interpretation and the actual photograph can be seen at:

A view on a stormy day

In an act of neighbourliness I have finished the building work, across the road. I bet my neighbour also wishes this was finished.
