A friend was trying to teach me the basics of human anatomy and muscle structure. It was quite interesting and afterwards I did some practices of the things he taught me. I’m grateful to have people around like that.

This seems to be the way to go if one intends to draw figures. All the books I have, on this subject, invariably start with this and, being lazy, I tend to skip these pages. Maybe that’s why I’m so bad at drawing people. Your sketches look great and I’m sure the lesson your friends gave you will stand you in god stead.

Thank you Uncle Bob and roseindigo! I am glad you liked these
I was glad for these lessons because I too have mostly skipped these and just gone with what my hand says. But now that I know a little bit of where the muscles and bones lie, i find that drawings bodies and poses comes a little easier =)
